How to Download a Twitter (X) Video

Twitter (now X) has no built-in download button for videos. This guide shows the fastest way to save any public tweet's video as an MP4 — free, with no app, no account, and no watermark.

Step 1 — Copy the tweet link

On the post that contains the video:

• Web / desktop: click the share icon under the tweet → Copy link.
• iPhone / Android app: tap the share icon → Copy link to post.

The link looks like https://x.com/username/status/1234567890. Both x.com and twitter.com links work, and it's fine if the link has extra ?s= tracking parameters on the end.
