About
Twitter / Xdoesn't make it easy to save a video you liked. The obvious in-app options aren't there, and the search results fill up with downloader sites that bury the thing you want under ads, redirect you through three pages, and stamp a watermark across your clip on the way out.
This tool is the simpler version. Paste a Twitter / X link, pick a quality, and download the file. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and no watermark. Videos come through in full quality when the original was posted that way.
The same extraction also runs as a REST API and an MCP server, so a script or an AI agent can fetch a direct download URL without scraping a webpage. If you build things, the developer docs cover the endpoints and the MCP tools.
It is built and run by Drummerduck. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Twitter / X. It reads content that is already public on Twitter / X the same way your browser does.
If you just want to grab a video, head to the downloaders. For walkthroughs and tips, the guides go into more detail.
