Terms of Service
Last updated 17 July 2026
By using Download Twitter Video, its API, or its MCP server, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
A free tool, offered as-is
The service is free to use and is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. It might have bugs, return the wrong result, or fail on a given link. To the extent the law allows, the maintainer is not liable for any loss that comes from using it. You use it at your own risk.
Your responsibility for what you download
Only download content that is public and that you have the right to use. Copyright stays with whoever owns it. A video being reachable does not make it yours to republish. You are responsible for how you use anything you save, and for following Twitter / X's own terms of service. This tool is not for piracy, harassment, or reposting other people's work as your own.
Availability
There is no guarantee that the service stays up or keeps working. Twitter / X can change how it serves media at any time, which may break extraction until it is fixed. The service may go down for maintenance, or go away entirely, without notice.
Rate limits and fair use
Requests are rate limited to keep the service usable for everyone. Anonymous traffic is capped per IP address on hourly and daily windows; API keys carry their own limits. Do not try to work around these limits, run large automated scrapes, or use the service in a way that degrades it for other people. API and MCP access is subject to the same fair-use expectation, and access can be limited or revoked if it is abused.
Not affiliated with Twitter / X
Download Twitter Video is an independent project by Drummerduck. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Twitter / X. All trademarks are the property of their owners and are used here only to describe what the tool works with.
Changes
These terms may change over time. When they do, the date at the top of this page updates. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms. Questions can go through the contact page.
